Single-storey L-shaped villa with a pool
This design develops two single-storey wings around an internal corner. The L-shaped arrangement makes it possible to differentiate the zones of the brief, but it increases the length of facade, the footprint of the foundations and the number of connections to be dealt with in the roof.

What this design shows
The re-entrant corner is an important point for structural continuity and for drainage. The roof, the edges and the downpipes must be designed together with the geometry of the plan, so that a concentration of water or an interrupted layer is not discovered on site.
The number of openings towards the outside locally reduces the lengths of solid wall. The stability panels, the lintels and the anchors must therefore be distributed consistently across the whole plan.

These documents are there to make the layout and the envelope shown understandable. They are schematic plans: they constitute neither construction drawings, nor structural drawings, nor a building permit.
Possible adaptations and their technical implications
The wings can be shortened, extended or recomposed bay by bay, which may favour the repetition of certain panels. That repetition does not remove the need to recalculate the loads, the wind, the seismic action, the diaphragms and the foundations for the real project.
The pool shown is a work separate from the LSF structure. Its excavation, its structure, its waterproofing and its services must be coordinated with the foundations and the accesses, without giving it any load-bearing role for the building.
A design becomes a project only after study
