PRIVACY

Your information is used to study your project.

You can browse this site without creating an account or filling in a form. If you tell us about a project, this page explains simply what we receive, why, who can access it, where it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

Who is responsible for your information?

This site is published by EURL ALGERIA LIGHT STEEL. It is the company that decides how the information you entrust to us is used.

Registered office:
Zone Industrielle C, Groupe de Propriété n° 205, Section 07, Lot 10, Rouiba, Alger, Algérie

For any question about your personal information, write to us at the address below, or by post to the registered office.

What information do we receive?

When you browse the site, the server that hosts it records technical information: IP address, page requested, date and time, type of browser. It is used to run the site and to protect it.

When you fill in the “Discuss my project” form, we only receive what you choose to send us:

Your contact details
surname, first name, company, role in the project, email address, telephone and preferred means of contact.
Your project
type of building, starting point, location, what you would like to entrust to us, indicative dimensions or floor areas, timetable, indicative budget and free description.
Your documents
drawings, sketches, specifications, photographs or other documents you choose to attach.
The context of your request
the page from which you opened the form, the design or offer concerned and, where applicable, the site or campaign through which you arrived.

When you write to us by email, we receive your message, your contact details and the attachments.

We do not ask you for any sensitive information: do not attach an identity document, health data or banking information. Before sending a document that concerns another person, make sure you may share it.

Why do we use it?

To understand your project, contact you again, ask you for any useful details and, where appropriate, send you a proposal. Technical connection information is used to run the site and to protect it against abuse.

We handle your request because you submit it to us: it is a step prior to a possible contract. Filling in the form does not sign you up to any marketing, and no decision about you is taken automatically from your answers.

Which answers are required?

Required fields are marked in the form: without them, your request cannot be sent. The other answers are optional; they simply help us prepare a more useful first exchange.

Who can access your information?

Within Algeria Light Steel, only the people who study, follow up or administer requests have access to it.

Two service providers act on our behalf and on our instructions: the host of the site and of our email, presented in the legal notice, and our request-management tool, in which each request and its documents are recorded. We will tell you the name of each one on request.

If your project requires the involvement of another professional — a design office, a carrier or a local company abroad — we agree with you on what is passed on to them, and why, before doing so.

We neither sell nor rent your information, and we never present a request as a public reference.

Where is your information kept?

The site and our email are hosted in France. Requests sent through the form and their documents are recorded in our request-management tool, hosted in Germany.

Sending the form therefore transfers your information outside Algeria.

How long do we keep it?

We keep your information for as long as we need to study your request and follow up our exchanges. If a contract is concluded, the information useful to the project joins its file and is kept for the whole of its duration, then for as long as the law requires or allows.

A request that does not lead to a project is deleted or anonymised 24 months after our last exchange.

The answers your browser keeps temporarily are erased after sending or when the tab is closed.

How do we protect it?

Exchanges with the site are encrypted. The documents you attach are recorded with private access, and only the people handling your request can consult them. The logs of our application contain neither your name, nor your contact details, nor the content of your request.

No system offers absolute security: these measures reduce the risks, they do not remove them.

Cookies and storage in your browser

The site uses no advertising cookie, no audience-measurement tool and no third-party tracking service.

So that you do not lose your answers, the form keeps them temporarily in your browser, together with the page from which you opened it. This information stays on your device: your answers are erased after sending, the rest when the tab is closed.

What are your rights?

Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018, as amended and supplemented by Law No. 25-11 of 24 July 2025, allows you to find out whether we process information about you and to access it, to have it updated, corrected, erased or locked where its processing does not comply with the law, and to object to its processing on legitimate grounds. You may also refuse at any time for it to be used for marketing.

To exercise these rights, use the contact details given on this page. We may ask you for what we need to verify your identity, so that we never disclose your information to another person.

If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may refer the matter to the Autorité nationale de protection des données à caractère personnel (ANPDP).

Writing to us from another country?

Our processing is governed by Algerian law. If the regulations of your country also apply to your request, the rights they give you are added to those described on this page.

When does this page change?

If we change the way we handle your information — for example by giving a new task to a service provider — we update this page before the change takes effect.
