This design arranges several wings around open spaces and a courtyard, under a low-pitched roof concealed by parapets. The composition creates many relationships between volumes, but it also increases the facade perimeter and the number of junctions to be coordinated.

What this design shows
The courtyards interrupt the continuity of the walls and of the roof. Stability must be organised around these voids, with a clear reading of the bracing panels, the lintels, the diaphragms and the anchors.
A visually flat roof must retain real falls, sized outlets, overflows, upstands and parapet details. The junctions between the different wings are particularly sensitive to the continuity of the waterproofing and the insulation.

Possible adaptations and their technical implications
The courtyard can be resized and the wings can receive another layout, but these changes alter the wall lengths, the openings, the roof spans and the routing of the services. They must be carried through into the structure and into the envelope details.
The pool remains an independent work, to be coordinated with the foundations and the services. The available plan shows a stair: the arrangement of the levels will be confirmed during the study of the project.
